Jim Keeble & Dudi Appleton are one of the foremost writing teams for high-end television drama in Europe. They combine crafted characterisation and plotting with an acute understanding of suspense and a razor sharp wit. They are best known for their work on THORNE – the Stephen Hopkins directed series that they adapted from the bestselling books, and for writing and directing on eight seasons of SILENT WITNESS, the top-rated BBC forensic thriller.

 

​​May 2 2022 saw the debut on Acorn TV of Signora Volpe, executive produced and directed by Dudi Appleton.

In 2019, their series WILD BILL aired in the UK on ITV, starring Rob Lowe. It is now available on Britbox.

Patrick Irwin’s latest work is on MISS SCARLET AND THE DUKE, with its fourth series due for release early in 2024 on PBS MASTERPIECE, Alibi and across the world. Also THE VANISHING TRIANGLE which premiered on AMC Sundance and Acorn TV on 28th September 2023 and will show on Virgin Media in Ireland and Five later in 2024.
